Artesia Traffic Crash GIS

DGR is currently preparing static and dynamic traffic crash maps for Artesia, New Mexico. The matching (geocoding) of traffic crash locations to this basemap was accomplished using the GRNDB software developed by DGR. The GRNDB is a transportation oriented GIS designed specifically to display traffic crash data.

The traffic crash database contains a multitude of information, however, this page features only those maps we routinely produce for various public agencies and officials. You may contact the New Mexico Traffic Safety Bureau (TSB) should you require a special map for official or public information uses.

These maps are organized by date (year) of crash data. You can click on the thumbnail sketch of the "MAP" to display it in detail.

For more information about traffic crashes in Artesia please review the statistics presented in the Community Report. Many of the statistics presented in the Artesia Community Report can be mapped using the GRNDB system developed by DGR.

DGR prepares the dynamic/interactive maps using ESRI's ArcIMS. Some of these maps are in the process of being revised. If they are not available please try again later. Various formats (HTML and ArcMap) are used for these ArcIMS maps. There is also a version of these demonstrations available in ESRI's ArcReader format. ArcReader is a free, easy-to-use product that allows anyone to view, explore, and print published map files (PMFs). You can click here to download ArcReader.
