DGR will maintain a traffic crash system database for New Mexico and ensure the availability of the data, tools and skills necessary to perform accurate and timely analysis of traffic safety information. A series of of special reports, maps and a Internet web page will be produced from this data to keep the public, policy makers, and elected officials adequately informed concerning traffic safety issues. A wide variety of specialized work and studies will also be undertaken to support the NM TSB in its efforts.
DGR will provide computer application development support and data analysis services for the Health Information System (HIS). Further work on the Hospital Inpatient Discharge Data (HIDD), Medicare, and Medicaid data will be performed. Consulting services and application development for GIS (ArcView) display of health care data and the development of a gravity model for measuring geographic access to facilities and providers will also be undertaken.
