DGR performed a series of technology transfer projects for the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) from 1987 through 1991. These projects resulted in the construction of a GRNDB system for producing statewide (rural) Nevada maps, plus maps for all the major urban areas in the state. The GRNDB system is being used routinely by the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) to produce maps of traffic crash, pavement management, and other transportation data.
