When all positions are filled and depending on current projects,
the staff at DGR is usually
composed of six full-time members and about a dozen student employees.
The background of DGR's staff reflects the diversity
of a major university such as UNM. The common interest of DGR's staff
and students is centered upon the interdisciplinary
application of computing techniques for social issues. The emphasis
has traditionally been upon
improving the quality of information government officials, elected
represenatives and the public use to make decisions.
