Conclusion

• Preliminary results do not support earlier findings that either general executive or cognitive function has an ability to predict incorrect use of MDI therapy.

• Why?

  • The preliminary sample size may be too small to find an influence of general executive or cognitive function on MDI use
  • Although general executive or cognitive function has not been shown to be associated with correct MDI use, specific domains may have a relationship
