Educational Leadership Program
Allison Borden  
Allison M. Borden is an Assistant Professor in the Educational Leadership and Organizational Learning Department in the College of Education at the University of New Mexico.
Dr. Borden received her Ed.D. from Harvard University Graduate School of Education in 2002. Her focus is on school leadership in the United States and in developing countries with an emphasis on Latin America and on quantitative research methods.
She was a K-12 teacher for thirteen years in schools in the U.S. and Honduras. She served as a principal for five years followed by five years as a transitional bilingual program director in Massachusetts.
This is her second higher education faculty appointment; the first was at Long Island University, the C.W. Post campus from 2002-2005.
