Dr. Carl Madzey is an Assistant Professor in the Educational Leadership Program at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Madzey received his Ed.D. in School Administration at the University of Wyoming. He has 27 years of educational leadership experience in the public schools as high school athletic director, assistant principal, and principal. His teaching is focused on the principalship, school law, and school finance. Dr. Madzey enjoys applying educational theory to practical school situations faced by school administrators on a daily basis. He has also provided workshops in several states on topics of school and sports law. Dr. Madzey was a faculty member last year for William Woods University in Missouri.
