Paper Towns

OFFICIAL TRAILER

In John Green's novel "Paper Towns," Quentin, the protagonist, has been infatuated with his neighbor Margo Roth Spiegelman since his childhood. Although, in recent years she has become little more than a neighbor. One night Margo, dressed as a ninja, knocks on his window to recruit him to carry out a series of elaborate pranks on her "friends" who have wronged her. As the night unfolds, Quentin begins to see Margo, not as a paper girl, but as a girl with human flaws and problems. After their nightlong escapade ends, Quentin goes to school the next day only to discover that the already enigmatic Margo has vanished. Much of the plot revolves around Quentin’s efforts to unravel the elaborate series of clues Margo's left behind for him. By the end of the story, Quentin has a better understanding of who she really is. This is a very well-written coming-of-age story for young adults.
