COURSE DESCRIPTION

Focusing upon the extraordinarily popular genre of the mystery novel, this course specifically looks at works written by women.  The ways in which these writers bring a female perspective to the genre, to murder, and to the investigation of crime is explored in depth.

COURSE GOALS

This class is designed to bring about an increased appreciation of the genre, the works, the writers, and the joys of a good read.

THIS WEBSITE

This website results from the assignment for a ‘Final and Fun’ class project. It has come about through the collaborative effort of classmates and friends. Coupled with my enthusiasm and their expertise, we have designed a site that will lend itself to an unfoldment with future classes.
