Writing Albuquerque

The coursework for Writing Albuquerque will refine the skills learned in 101 and 102 as well as challenge students to incorporate personal investigation and observation, interviews, local print sources, photography and visual design into larger expositional works that may be suitable for submission to local publications such as The Daily Lobo, Best Student Essays, Conceptions Southwest and others. Because the subject of investigation is broad, students can focus on any aspect of history, geography, geology, ecology, health care, the homeless, education, politics, crime, etc. The possibilities are endless! So, come to the class curious about investigating Albuquerque and a with a willingness to share your writing with others.
