Research Projects & Travel Grants
There are several university venues to which graduate students can apply for support of research projects, conference participation, and related travel costs. Each source requires its own application process, maintains its own deadlines, and awards different amounts based on specific criteria. In all cases, though, your proposal should offer a cogent description of your research project or the relevance of your work; present a detailed budget; and provide ample evidence of expenses, including receipts, conference agendas indicating your participation, support for estimated costs, etc. Click each resource below for more details about applying for graduate student RPT funding. Please note that, in order to be eligible for English Department travel funding, you must demonstrate that you have also applied to another source of support.
