PhD reading lists
The reading lists have been compiled as an aid to PhD candidates studying for their comprehensive examinations. These lists are suggestive, not definitive and students are expected to have read widely in their fields of interest and be thoroughly familiar with the major writers and works. Reading lists are also available from the Director of Graduate Studies and the Graduate Studies Advisor. All lists are in PDF format.
