The 2008 semester in London will give students an opportunity to learn about a London that is not the mythic city of British Literature classes. English 479, Post Colonial Literature will study postcolonial authors from Lewis Carrol to Zadie Smith and then experience the diversity of London itself by visiting Southall and taking Mrs. Dalloway's walk.

The class will visit a number of important historic and cultural sites around London, and the English Theatre History course will have the opportunity to see several live theatre productions.
