Applying to the Honors Program

To enter the Honors Program in English you must submit an application to the Director of Undergraduate Studies in English preferably at the beginning of or before the second semester of your junior year in the program. You must submit a letter of recommendation from a tenure-track faculty member in the English department along with your application.

It is advisable to make an appointment or stop by during office hours to discuss your intention to apply for Departmental Honors with the Undergraduate Director or one of the faculty advisors:
