Proofing, editing, and correcting internal training documents.

What specific documents/communication projects will the intern work with and be able to present in a portfolio (or otherwise substantiate) upon completion of the internship?

Proofed, edited, and corrected internal training documents.

How much supervision/mentoring will the intern likely receive or have available?

The intern will receive direction and mentoring from the CYFD Professional Development Bureau Chief and lead supervisors in editing content for classroom training delivery. The intern will have the opportunity to experience his/her edited product being delivered in the classroom setting and evaluate the effectiveness of the word choice and clarity of training presentations.

Expected range of hours worked per week (cannot exceed 20): 10-20

Expected duration (normally cannot be less than 4 weeks) Full semester
