Information about the Internship

What tasks will the intern perform; what specific/general skills/experience do you seek?

Grant writing and research - the intern needs good communication and writing skills

What specific documents/communication projects will the intern work with and be able to present in a portfolio (or otherwise substantiate) upon completion of the internship?

Completion of grant requirements from specific grants that the NHBA is qualified to receive. The intern will research and locate such grants and then fill out the necessary paperwork and write the grant proposal for the NHBA. Any necessary information will be provided promptly and easily to accommodate the intern.

How much supervision/mentoring will the intern likely receive or have available?

As much as needed

Is the internship paid or a volunteer opportunity? Volunteer

Expected range of hours worked per week (cannot exceed 20) Up to 10

Expected duration (normally cannot be less than 4 weeks) Fall semester

Location of the work: Both - research done off site

The Nob Hill Business Association is a non-profit group whose goal is to market Nob Hill as a destination for Albuquerque. Nob Hill area businesses (retail and restaurants, as well as professional service businesses) are the members.
