What tasks will the intern perform; what specific/general skills/experience do you seek?

RMH has ongoing operating costs as well as special initiatives that require funding. The intern assignment will include reviewing the needs of RMH, researching potential grantors, and submitting the grant applications.

Expected range of hours worked per week (cannot exceed 20) Flexible

Expected duration (normally cannot be less than 4 weeks) The duration of the internship is flexible and can be dictated by UNM requirements and/or the student. Because of upcoming expansion of the House, we see the need for this position continuing indefinitely. If one internship ends we hope that another will follow as students are interested.

The Ronald McDonald House of New Mexico (RMH) is looking for a volunteer intern to research and submit requests for grant funding. RMH is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that provides temporary lodging and other services to families with critically ill or injured children who must travel to Albuquerque for medical treatment.
