Clara Boling

Clara Boling will finish her last semester at UNM in May of 2008 with an English degree and a Linguistics minor. After graduation she will take a two-year break from professional writing to teach elementary school in rural South Louisiana with Teach For America. Clara’s long-term career interests are in publishing and editing, and she is gaining field experience as the 2007-2008 editor of Conceptions Southwest, UNM’s fine arts and literature magazine. She coordinates a small staff and works on all aspects of the publication, including selection, copyediting, design and layout, publicity, and relations with contributors, printers, donors, and the university.
