Professional Chapter seeks student help in Ramah Navajo Water Treatment Project

Tsimane Development Project - Bolivia

The Tsimane Development Project, also known as the "Bolivia Project" aims to assist an indigenous group called the Tsimane in Bolivia with problems related to drinking water and communications. Further information about the Tsimane and the details of their engineering needs can be found by clicking here. You can also read our project description on the EWB-USA website here.

The Tsimane Development project is lead by Kelly Isaacson and a committee of interested students and professionals. There are opportunities for all types of engineers and non-engineers as well. We have a particular need for students interested in water treatment, communications (electrical/computer engineering), and health sciences. This project is an awesome opportunity for you to learn and grow both as professional and as a person while doing important work to improve the lives of people in need. Don't be intimidated if you are just starting out or if you are worried about the workload. We have plenty of experienced mentors willing to help in the professional EWB chapter. If you are interested in participating in the project, please email me at kelly.isaacson@gmail.com and come to our next meeting. I look forward to working with you.
