Sacred Power

Congratulations to everyone who participated in Ramah, NM installing photovoltaic systems for 3 households.

EWB-UNM teamed with Sacred Power to install photovoltaic systems for those without electricity in a remote town south of Grants, NM. The team had to wire up the houses for a light socket, electrical outlet, and a refrigerator. Also, they worked incredibly hard to run the wiring from the solar/propane generator to the house via underground trench! All the work was done in compliance with the electric code.

The team was able to successfully install 2 houses and wire up the 3rd house.
