LECTURER OF STUDIO FUNDAMENTALS
UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF ART & ART HISTORY POSITION: Lecturer of Studio Fundamentals, Department of Art and Art History. Full-time. Non-probationary. Develop and teach a new Studio Fundamentals course addressing cross disciplinary practice. Manage Studio Fundamentals labs and supervise lab personnel. Service and committee work may be expected. SALARY: $32,000 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: M.F.A. degree; college level teaching experience; experience in managing studio labs and supervising lab personnel. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in teaching Studio Fundamentals, including 2-D, 3-D, time-based arts, and digital imaging; experience in developing studio curriculum; ability to provide leadership to graduate student teachers in Studio Fundamentals; knowledge of current safety and health standards.
