Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, a New Mexico resident, and meet the following criteria:
This program is very competitive, and the criteria listed for the scholarship represent the minimum requirement to be considered. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee an award. Selection procedures may include an audition and/or writing and creative practice submissions.
All candidates must apply for admission to be considered for a scholarship. ACT/SAT scores must be received by the scholarship deadline date.
To apply, students must submit the UNM Incoming Freshmen Scholarship Application as an on-line Word Document or as a .pdf file.
