Elizabeth Waters Dance
- incoming freshman
- must have maintained an overall GPA equal to a "C" in high school course work and be able to satisfy the necessary requirements to enter UNM
- must enroll as a theatre arts major
- audition
- must complete the participant's statement of scholarship eligibility and must have at least one letter of recommendation.
Theatre Department Scholarships in Acting, Directing, Dramatic Writing, History/Criticism and Theatre Education
- currently enrolled theatre major
- achieving high grades in both studio and non-studio courses in the major
- high cumulative grade point average
- have made substantive and regular artistic contributions to the program and/or have demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities
- have utilized the program's advisement process wisely and regularly and are thus making timely progress toward the degree
- demonstrate a genuine openness toward the diverse and comprehensive curriculum provided by the program, department, college and university
Application Materials: Applicants must submit the following:
- A current resume listing recent theatre activities in the department and community.
- A one-page typed letter addressing the way in which they fulfill the above qualifications.
- A current unofficial transcript - obtainable from the UNM Records Office.
