FALL 2005 & SPRING 2006 PROGRAM

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

PRE-REGISTRATION

Pre-registration is encouraged and may be done by phone or mail-in. Call 277-8816 for information.
Registration will also be held on the first day of classes, but class selection may be limited, if available.

SEMESTER SCHEDULE

Fall Semester - Fourteen Weeks
Saturday, August 27, 2005 - December 10, 2005
NOTE: No classes September 3, October 8, and November 26

Spring Semester - Fourteen Weeks
Saturday, January 14, 2006 - May 6, 2006
NOTE: No classes on February 18, March 25, and April 15

Classes are held on Saturday at the Center for the Arts (Popejoy Hall Center) in the UNM Music
Department and are 45 minutes in length except for the Birth through 29 months classes which are
30 minutes in length.

CLASS FEES PER FOURTEEN WEEK SEMESTER


$70.00 per 14-week class/Birth-to 29-Months

$90.00 per 14-week class/Age 30 months through Sixth Grade

$85.00 per 14-week class/per-child/Family Music (45 min. class) Must have two or more children enrolled for Family Music.

NOTE: If you have more than one child enrolled or a child enrolled in more than one class, deduct $5 for each child or each class from the basic fee of $90 or $70.

$445 per child for Suzuki Violin Class for Two Semesters (due in Fall). NOTE: A material fee of
approximately $70 will also be required in the fall for Level 1 Students. These materials will be
purchased at a local music store. Information will be given out on first day of class.

NO REFUNDS

TUITION WAIVERS

A limited number of partial and full tuition waivers based upon need will be offered. The criteria used for
tuition waivers is the same as the guidelines for the Albuquerque Public Schools free or reduced lunch
program. Waivers are limited to one per family. Please call the UNM Music Prep School, 277-8816, to
obtain a tuition waiver application form or for additional information.

INSTRUMENT AND MUSIC ACQUISITION

All students are expected to rent or purchase their own instruments, music stands, and music where
applicable. A list of required music will be given at the first class session.

PARKING

Campus lots are free on Saturday and are based on first-come, first-served availability.
Paid lots are $5 when events are scheduled on Saturday.
