The University of New Mexico Department of Music is pleased to announce the continuation of its Music Prep School Program of exciting and enriching musical experiences for students of the New Mexico community. The UNM Music Prep School is a program for children that started in 1993 and offers a wide variety of classes during the summer, fall, and spring. Teachers are outstanding and experienced music educators from the community.
Classes meet between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. each Saturday.
ALL CLASSES ARE HELD AT THE UNM CENTER FOR THE ARTS.

C. FOLK DANCES FOR THE FAMILY
D. PLAY PARTY GAMES FOR THE FAMILY
E. RECORDER INSTRUCTION

G. ORFF INSTRUMENT ENSEMBLE
H. PIANO
I. GUITAR

* A parent or guardian is required to attend these classes with his/her child.
** Instruments are provided by UNM. For Piano, students need a keyboard for practice at home.
***Students must provide their own guitars for these classes.
NOTE: Classes have limited enrollment; therefore, please register as early as possible.
FEES FOR 8-WEEK SESSION:
$70.00 per 8-week class/Age 2-1/2 - through Sixth Grade (45 minute classes)
$50.00 per 8-week class/Pre-School Music - Birth to 29 mos. (30 minute classes)
FEES FOR 4-WEEK SESSION:
$35.00 per 4-week class/Age 2-1/2 - through Sixth Grade (45 minute classes)
$25.00 per 4-week class/Birth to 29 mos. (30 minute classes)
