In this FLC, we will be using widely accessible tools (phones, iPods, open source or free software) to examine the digital frame through the creation of several media projects. The rich culture of Albuquerque and New Mexico will provide the foundation for all projects. Students will work independently and in collaboration to develop projects and presentations. Assignments will include short documentaries, interactive game environments and e-pubs and visual live presentations. Through these assignments, students will develop skills in using digital tools and become more aware of their own personal frames. The workshop will also involve students actively utilizing online materials as preparation for successful future online experiences.
