Catalog Description: Economics on a national scale: determination of national income, employment level, inflation, and impact of policies affecting money supply, interest rates and government programs. Current macroeconomic issues and problems.

Catalog Description: A one- to three-hour seminar for 25 first term freshmen which meets once a week to explore the university, its resources, and how to enhance important skills for a positive college experience.

 

FIG 657- Investing in Your Economic Future is a FIG for students who want to explore economic activities and development occurring in their own community and apply what they have learned to their academic and career goals. Students will be introduced to presentations, research, and computer skills, and to the programs, services, and opportunities offered by the university.
