Catalog Description: A one- to three-hour seminar for 25 first term freshmen which meets once a week to explore the university, its resources, and how to enhance important skills for a positive college experience.

 

FIG 658- This course gives you the opportunity to discuss coursework, study skills and interests in health fields. You will meet students, alumni, faculty and advisors as you explore health fields. The objective is to guide studentsin understanding skills, attitudes and health care issues in New Mexico. Students will use UNM learning tools, follow a medical case study as they explore health fields, complete a mock interview for admission and design an academic plan.
