Catalog Description: A one- to three-hour seminar for 25 first term freshmen which meets once a week to explore the university, its resources, and how to enhance important skills for a positive college experience.

FIG 660- Whether you want to work with a team of professionals in an ambulance service, an emergency room, or at a fire agency, this class will give the student a glimpse into many facets of Emergency Medical Services and the clinical, educational, and administrative responsibilities. We will explore EMS career options including the application process among various EMS services to help the student prepare for employment and a bachelor's degree in EMS. Pending availability, students may have the option to gain experience in the hospital or field setting as part of the course.
