Catalog Description: Overview of the major content areas in psychology. Topics to be covered include learning, cognition, perception, motivation, biological systems, social and abnormal psychology, development, personality, and approaches to psychotherapy.

Catalog Description: A one- to three-hour seminar for 25 first term freshmen which meets once a week to explore the university, its resources, and how to enhance important skills for a positive college experience.

 

FIG 670- Students in this course will have the opportunity to explore careers in business and psychology. Through informal activities with advanced students, faculty, and professionals, students will discover their career passion and what the world of work could hold for them. In addition, students will expand their learning strategies to maximize study time and to become proficient with online learning tools. Students will work together in community to help each other not only learn how to learn better but to develop a better understanding of their purposes.
