The Corporate Ski Cup series continues to be the largest and most prominent ski event held in the state of New Mexico. The series involves the six major ski resorts of New Mexico, Taos Ski Valley ,Sandia Peak ,Ski Apache, Red River , Angel Fire ,and Santa Fe Ski Area all brought to you by Ski New Mexico. These activities continue to be fun and healthy for the participants as well as the ski industry. Ski areas, participating individuals, and sponsors continue to develop strong ties among themselves due to their involvement in the Corporate Ski Cup.

The Corporate Ski Cup exposes people in the business community to our Lobo Ski Team athletes and coaches, generate media attention for our sponsors, and raise the much needed funds to supplement the Lobo Ski Team budget.

The ski industry is a vital contributor to the economy of the state of New Mexico. The state government and private industry have joined forces to promote skiing. The New Mexico Ski Team and the Corporate Ski Cup have exemplified harmony within these two sectors that has resulted in an event which is beneficial in creating a positive stimulus to the state's economy, the University of New Mexico, its ski team, the business sector and the community at large.
