Group Goals: Each group serves under secondment to the Inter-state
Coalition for International Security.
The goal of the group is to develop concrete policy
recommendations. The group should first, define the problem; second, identify
sources of information to collect necessary data on the problem; third
discuss the problem on the basis of collected information; fourth, adopt a
set of policy recommendations; fifth, discuss these recommendations with
other groups; sixth, develop a presentation of policy recommendation;
seventh, each individual should prepare a 3-5 page policy paper on the
problem, data, and recommendations; and finally, deliver a presentation to
the class on July 25th or July 26th. Presentation Plan:
Each group should develop a plan for the presentation. A number of issues need to be
addressed. Who will make the General
Assembly presentation? Who will speak? Will there be presentation of data or
information in the form of overheads, powerpoints, etc.? What is the group trying to achieve? Who will respond to questions? |
