Read "Assumptions" By Richard Hugo. (Handout in Class)
Read IW Chapter 9, 309-325.
WRITE: freewrite a list of assumptions (ten or more) based on the following prompt: "Whenever I see a _______ that triggers whatever it is inside me that wants to write a poem, I assume at least one of the following:
