Please consider my essay, “Cutting the Snow,” for publication in Creative Nonfiction.  The essay is a self-contained section of a larger work which explores life in the remote northern Nevada town of Mountain City, population thirty.  My family has lived in and around the town since the late 1860's.  Another essay from the same manuscript is forthcoming from North Dakota Quarterly.
