The above figure (i.e Fig:1) is drawn using Arch Map using the data given for Pan Evaporation in New Mexico. There are two layers in it one showing the NM counties and the other showing the evaporation rate in that basin. The Droplets indicate the annual evaporation rates in that particular catchment or area. |

The above bar chart represents the annual pan evaporation for some selected parts in Southern New Mexico. |

In drawing the bar chart, I have selected three counties in S.New Mexico which are Hidalgo, Dona Ana, and Eddy and the name of the stations are Animals ,Jornada Exp Range , and Lake Avalon. Respectively. The value on the top shows the annual pan evaporation rate in these three counties. There is not much of a difference in the values as all the three counties are in the south. The rate of evaporation could depend on the annual rainfall in the area and the temperatures in the area. |
