SPECIALIZED TRAVEL (ST) FUNDING Fall 2009 Applications are due at noon on Friday, September 25, 2009 Specialized Travel Overview The Specialized Travel (ST) fund, organized by the GPSA Specialized Travel Committee, was created in 1998 to help graduate and professional students with travel expenses for events other than conferences and not covered under the SRAC grants. This includes travel to interviews, clinicals, and anything that is not classified as a conference. Students may now receive $300 per academic year through the Specialized Travel fund. Academic years begin with Summer (June 1 to August 14), then Fall (August 15 to December 31) and end Spring (January 1 to May 31). Contact us at unmgpsagrants (at) gmail.com. Please fill out these pdf forms and save them to your computer. ST Application Form (STCover.pdf) Anonymous Cover Sheet (CoverAnon.pdf) Your typed name in the signature blank is considered your signature. There is no need for a faculty signature on the cover page. If you hit the submit button on the form, a dialog will pop-up that asks for your email address and name. Enter whatever you wish and press send (this will not yet send an email). Select Email Client "Internet Email" and click "Ok". This will allow you to save the file to your computer. Then you can create the following attachments and send them in one email. Then email these along with the following documents to unmgpsa.st (at) gmail.com:
