Purpose
|
|
RPT awards are intended to defray the costs of materials or equipment necessary to your research, and/or for travel required to collect data or to present the results of research at professional meetings. Because of the limited availability of funding, the selection process will be extremely competitive.

Eligibility
|
|
An RPT grant may be awarded to an individual who:
- is full or part-time graduate student;
- in good academic standing;
- working towards the completion of their degree.

Awards are dependent upon individual proposals and funding limits, which may vary from year to year. Awards will be disbursed on a reimbursement-only basis. copies of receipts will not be accepted. The receipts must indicate that the recipient has incurred expenses in compliance with the proposed budget attached to the application.

September 19, 2008 - for travel or research to commence during the period August 26, 2008 thru December 31, 2008
January 30, 2009 - for travel or research to commence during the period January 1, 2009 thru May 15, 2009
May 29, 2009 - for travel or research to commence during the period May 16, 2009 thru August 21, 2009
