MEDIA TECHNOLOGY SERVICES

Located in Woodward Hall, Media Technology Services (MTS) supports UNM classroom instruction on main campus and at 75 satellite sites around the state through its three departments: Engineering/Instructional Television; Academic Technology Services; and, Production Services.

Engineering/Instructional Television support services include:

• A/V systems for lecture halls and classrooms on main campus
• digital two-way videoconference
• systems satellite uplink and remote site downlink
• ITFS microwave transmit and receive sites

Academic Technical Services include:

• academic technology equipment for faculty and instructors at the main campus
  
• film library collection designed to support specific academic departments
  
• graphics and media transfer shop for producing computer graphics, 35mm slides, and CDs
  
• academic technology training and instruction for faculty
  
• equipment rental and technical support to campus and non-campus organizations

Production Services include:

• professional, broadcast quality production services
  
• pre- and post-production for training or informational videos
  
• video and audio recording of seminars and lectures, either in the studio or on-location
