Procedure to Setup a Link to a Particular Policy

Please follow the procedure below to setup a link on your webpage to a particular Faculty Handbook policy or to copy the link to a particular Faculty Handbook Policy:
  1. Browse to the page that states the policy you want to link.

  2. If you are using Internet Explorer:
    • Right click on the textual portion of the policy page and click on Properties.
    • The URL of the Policy page is specified in the Address (URL) field.
    If you are using Netscape Navigator 6.2:
    • Right click on the textual portion of the policy page and click on View Info.
    • The URL of the Policy page is the link ahead of the Location field in the window that pops open.
    If you are using Netscape Navigator 7.0:
    • Right click on the textual portion of the policy page and click on This Frame.
    • Click on View Frame Info from the Menu that pop's up.
    • The URL of the Policy page is the link ahead of the URL field in the window that pops open.

  3. Copy the URL and use it as the value of the HREF attribute of your anchor (A) tag. You can also send that link as an email.
