Applicants must send three copies of the completed application
The Contested Homelands teacher workshop seeks applicants from all grade levels and all subject disciplines. The hope is to develop a community of participants ready to share and learn from each other as well as from the workshop experience itself.
A Completed application consists of the following collated items:
1. The Completed Application Cover Sheet
This application must be filled out first on-line and then printed to send in with the application package. The address for the application is

2. Application Essay
Perhaps the most important part of the completed application is an essay of one double spaced page. This essay should include information about your professional background and interest in the subject of the workshop; your special perspectives, skills, or experiences that would contribute to the workshop; and how the experience will enhance your teaching or school service.
3. Letter of Recommendation
Include a letter of recommendation from a principal, department head, or the head of a home schooling association in support of your application. The letter should arrive in a signed and sealed envelope. Letter should also be signed across the seal on the back.
4. A Résumé
Include a resume detailing professional experience and educational qualifications
Application information is included with this letter. Your completed application should be postmarked no later than March 1, 2012, and should be addressed as follows:
