Workplace Assertiveness Skills
(2 Part Course)

 

 

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Participants will learn the differences between manipulation and assertiveness, how to interact with people in an assertive manner, when and how to say "NO" and other skills essential for taking care of yourself in the workplace and elsewhere.

PROGRAM LENGTH

Two Days - 2 Hour Sessions each day

LEARNING OBJECTIVES


Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize submissive behavior
  • Recognize aggressive behavior
  • Recognize assertive behavior
  • Recognize blocks to behaving assertively
  • Identify appropriate workplace assertion skills
  • Learn and practice six assertion skills

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

All employees or managers
