history, developmental stages
(2) Identify the "Big Cheeses" and their contributions to
theory development
(3) Understand/Comprehend the theory's

ť role(s) of the counselor (client)
ť theory's goal(s)
ť theory's technique(s)
ť theory's strength(s)
ť theory's limitation(s) - - inherent biases, prejudices, flaws, etc
ť implications for treatment/treatment plan(s)
B. Groundrules:
(1) Be prompt
(2) Be 'your word' - if say you'll be there...then be there!
(3) Be courteous
(4) Be prepared
(5) Be engaged - silence signifies understanding
(6) Be efficient (i.e., stay on task)
