The Predator, or Yautja, is a fearsome extraterrestrial hunter who kills for sport. His armor sports a variety of highly advanced weapons, including a self-destruct device capable of producing a thermonuclear explosion. It is rumored that the Predator is a retired politician. Between this and the hunting, he's kind of like Dick Cheney, only instead of hunting quail he hunts Arnold Schwarzenegger, and he has yet to shoot any of his companions in the face. The Predator laughs mightily at the notion of partisan politics. He is a party unto himself.
