The IDEA Student Survey

Schedule a day to administer students surveys with your IDEA Departmental Coordinator. Typically, the IDEA Departmental Coordinator is the same person in your department who served as your ICES Departmental Coordinator. On the designated day, your students will fill out either the 47-item IDEA diagnostic (long) form or the 19-item IDEA short form. The IDEA system will take your students’ responses to the survey items, factor in the learning objectives that you specified in the Faculty Information Form, and generate either a Diagnostic Form Report or a Short Form Report.
