The lizard genus Anolis is one of the most speciose groups of reptiles in the Western Hemisphere. Of the approximately 400 species known to science, 19 SPECIEShave established invasive populations outside of their natural range. Invasive species can have major ecological and economic impacts on their invaded areas. Prediction of the spread of invasive species is an important step towards mediating their impacts and understanding their biology. The purpose of this page is to present a GIS based ecological niche modeling analysis of the distribution of the Cuban or Bahaman Anole (Anolis sagrei).
