Space Design Competition
Held each February at the Space Technology and Applications International Forum in Albuquerque, this annual design competition challenges middle and high school students to apply their creativity and scientific knowledge to a specific theme. Past themes have included "Titan Traveler," "Orbital Shipyard One," and "Seeking Life on Mars."
The theme for the 20th Annual Space Design Competition, to be held February 11, 2008, in Albuquerque, NM, is Orbital Colony. Project guidelines and application forms are available on the 2008 SDC Page. Winners of last year's competition are listed in the SDC Archives.
