They spent the day preparing for the event. Those who traveled on Friday had to contend with rain then snow. Mike Piper's car arrived by means of a tow truck as it had a distributor failure. Phil Degroot was contacted and he had a spare. He brought it to the meet where a few "gearheads" got Mike's Corvair running again. Saturday dawned with beautiful weather, sunny, slightly breezy, just about perfect for a car show. There were 24.5 cars on display. The "half-a-car" was of course SeeMore the cut-away display car which Randy Karl towed to the event. Everyone headed to the shop of RMC member Bart Victor where a delicious dinner was provided and all could admire a great collection of cars and trucks. After the car show many toured the interesting sites in and around Glenwood. The banquet was held at the historic Hotel Colorado. The guest speaker was RMC member Eric Schakel who told about obtaining and restoring a Yenko Stinger and then going racing with it.
