I would also like to thank Brenda, Lupe, Steve and Jim for agreeing to serve as club officers. Hopefully the pandemic restrictions will gradually lift and we can get back to being an active club. At the December club meeting we can discuss what these activities might entail: e.g. breakfasts and lunch outings (don't forget Mimi's Cafe on Dec 11), driving events and tech sessions. The tech sessions means anyone doing something interesting to their Corvair may invite club members to observe and/or lend a hand. This would be particularly beneficial to new Corvair owners - like me!!! I would also like to propose adding an occasional lecture or presentation to our club meetings. This may take the form of a technical video or lecture from a club member. So, if you have an interesting topic in mind please inform one of the Board members. I will inquire with Corsa if they have instructional videos on hand or on their Facebook page. In the spirit of David Allin's first term as president let me introduce myself: When asked where I'm from I have to specify: born in Colorado, raised in California, educated in Texas (PhD in Physics), and employed in New Mexico. I am also a member of several local clubs: The Albuquerque Astronomical Society, The Albuquerque Science Fiction Society, The Alb Radio Control Club and soon to be a member of Albuquerque Society of HO Module Engineers (model trains). I also keep Dart Frogs as pets and one Leichianus Gecko (largest species in the world). Rampside Mystery On September 1st several club members made a round trip to Santa Fe on the Rail Runner. Heading north out of the Albuquerque Downtown Station Tarmo Sutt noticed three Corvair Forward Control vehicles, side-by-side, in a lot on the east side of the tracks. I did a quick search on Google Earth and saw what could be three truck-like vehicles in the Albuquerque Mail Services yard. So I stopped by after work one day and spoke to the business president, Sid Johnson Jr. After explaining who I was and why I was there he said they belonged to him (his father actually) and they've sat there for quite a spell. Tarmo wanted to see the Rampsides so we both stopped by on Veteran's Day, took a few photos, and gave Sid an estimate of what they might be worth. Two are in OK condition and the third, green one with missing windshield, is a bit more rough. There will be pictures on the website after the December meeting. If you are interested, Mr. Sid Johnson Jr. can be reached at: Albuquerque Mail Service-Southwestern Film Service, 505-843-7613. Old Route 66 Clean Up David Huntoon and I (mostly Dave) penned a request to Olga Bannon at the NM DOT to request a new site for the Adopt-A-Highway program. The conditions of the west end of our section have deteriorated to the point (I'll spare the details) that we would like to shift further east along Route 66. We asked if the section from mile marker 5 to 6 is available. Our next cleanup is not scheduled until March 2022 so we have some time to find an alternate section. More Corvairs In the October 13 Journal Classified Ads was a Notice of Public Sale for two late model Corvairs. I contacted Donnie at Independent Storage & Wrecking and was told they'd already been sold to a junkyard. "Oh no!!!" "Oh yes". He said. "That's all they were. Junk. Just the bodies". Oh well. However, there is an early-closed Red 2-door Monza in the lot of Z-Motors on Broadway SE. I've left a message asking for details. There wasn't a price tag in the window so I'm not 100% sure it's for sale. But I did take a look at it and it's in 'OK' condition. And more Corvairs It turns out, unbeknownst to me until last week, that there are quite a few Corvair Groups on Facebook: Corvair, Corvair Trading, Corvair Buy/Sell/Trade, etc. I've joined a few of them. The Corvair Trading group is exactly what is says: Corvairs for sale. I'll be perusing this site for the next year or two looking for my second EC. Cheers and looking forward to seeing everyone in December. Greg Nelson ======~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~====== GENERAL MEETING, 11/06/2021 BY SECRETARY KAY SUTT The meeting was called to order by President David Huntoon at 10:15 at the Highland Senior Citizen Center at 131 Monroe St, NE. Seventeen members attended. President's Report: David Huntoon, outgoing president, took time to thank Terry Price and all CNM members for making the just-completed Tri-State meet a rousing success. He has received positive feedback from numerous attendees regarding the organization and professionalism of the meet. The highlight of the event for many was the keynote speech by Dr. Harrison Schmitt (thank you, Larry Blair, for your work securing his cooperation for this event!). David also reported two of the model cars in the silent auction had not been picked up, and he offered to purchase both so the club could benefit. The membership thanked David for his generosity, but as an alternative they thought the cars could become raffle items at the Holiday Party if David does not want both. Terry Price is also interested in one of the vehicles, so the two agreed they would work it out between themselves. Vice President's Report: Tarmo reported he received several nominations for CNM officers for the coming year, and the Francis Boydston award nominations are due by today's meeting. The award committee, consisting of Tarmo and Jim and Heula Pittman, all past winners of the Boydston Award, will make a final decision next week, and the award will be presented at the CNM Holiday Party on December 11, to be held at 1:00 PM at Mimi's Restaurant. Secretary's Report: Kay Sutt had nothing to report. Treasurer's Report: Steve Gongora reported the balance in the account is $5,456.70, after expenses and receipts to date. Sunshine Committee Report: Vickie Hall was not present, and there was no report for this committee. Old Route 66 Highway Cleanup Committee: Greg Nelson said the committee is dormant for the winter, after having the last event in October. The monthly clean-ups will resume next Spring. Thank you to everyone who participated during the 2021 season. Greg also represents CNM at NMCCC (NM Council of Car Clubs), and he reports their meeting this month was interesting, but no updates or new events are in the offing. Greg was intrigued by Tarmo's report that during the September 1st CNM Rail Runner ride he saw three Rampsides in a yard adjoining the railroad right-of-way. Greg combed aerial maps and found the vehicles! He contacted the owner of the yard, who reported that he would be willing to entertain offers for the vehicles, and Greg passed around photos of the vehicles at the meeting. He also asked if anyone knows George Pack, who reportedly has a couple vehicles to sell, but no one knew him; if you have information, contract Greg. Newsletter Editor: Jim Pittman informed President David the deadline for the next newsletter is 9 P.M. on Friday, November 26. The deadline for the December newsletter will be earlier, on December 15, since the printer closes for the Holidays. Jim has published a "special edition" newsletter regarding the Tri-State meet, including stories and photos. This document can be accessed on his website. Jim stated some newsletters are still being mailed, and he wants to ensure that the newsletter is made available to everyone, so there is no plan to go entirely digital in the foreseeable future. Heula mails birthday greetings to members, and the cost of the two mailings combined, is negligible to CNM. Old Business: The Tri-State wrap-up was the focus of this portion of the meeting. Terry Price published a thank you article in the special Tri-State Report, and he intends to send out thanks to a total of 24 CNM members who gave of their time, energy, skills and money to make the meet a cornerstone to build on for future tri-state meets. There were 42 Corvairs entered in the car show, but a total of 50 Corvairs were counted onsite at least once during the meet. Lupe and Kay both thanked Terry for his dedicated work for the last 2.5 years to make this meet the success it was. Lupe was thanked for her work making registration go nearly seamlessly, and she stated she learned some new tricks to make her convention planning go more smoothly in future for other groups with which she works. The considerable number of items from the hospitality room which were not consumed at the meet were brought to the meeting, and they were donated to the Highland Senior Center to assist in their efforts to provide services for less fortunate people. New Business: The Holiday Party, organized by Maggie Kitts, will be held at Mimi's Bistro + Bakery, 4316 The 25 Way, NE, on December 11th at 1:00 P.M. Note that this is a minor change from what was reported earlier. Some Clark's Corvair Parts items were not dispersed at the Tri-State meet, and those will be offered as raffle items at the party. Please bring your donations for The Storehouse to the party for Vickie Hall to collect. Needed items include non-perishable food, new/slightly used clothing, toiletries or cash donations. Furniture is not accepted. Larry Blair will take part in the November 11 Veterans' Day activities at the NM Veterans' Memorial at 1100 Louisiana Blvd. SE. The plaque CNM provided honoring Bill Reider and John Wiker will be highlighted during the ceremonies. Larry recommends if you intend to go to the event that you bypass the small, typically packed parking lot at the Memorial, and proceed to the nearby Kirtland Federal Credit Union parking lot, which is about a 5-minute walk away from the Memorial. He reports there will be a shuttle available from the parking lot to the event grounds. Vice President, Tarmo Sutt presented the nominations for President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer for the annual election of officers for CNM. Greg Nelson has agreed to serve as President, Brenda Stickler agreed to be Vice President, Lupe Arellanes can serve as Secretary, and Steve Gongora is willing to continue as Treasurer. Larry Blair moved that this slate of officers be approved by acclimation, and the members present voted unanimously and gratefully to accept these officers. Congratulations, and thanks for your willingness to serve CNM! The General Meeting was adjourned at 11:05 A.M. ======~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~====== CNM'S CHARITY "THE STOREHOUSE" VICKIE HALL CNM's Christmas party is rapidly approaching which is also time for the Sunshine Committee to collect donations from our members which will be delivered by me and Pat to a local charity. This year, as in the past, THE STOREHOUSE will be our recipient. They accept nonperishable food items, personal hygiene items, gently used and new clothes, baby items and monetary donations. They do not accept furniture. The Storehouse is a non-profit organization so they do not charge for their items. People, in need, are very fortunate to have this store in operation. Donations can be brought to our Saturday December 4th membership meeting and to our Christmas celebration at 1:00 PM on December 11th, 2021. Vickie Hall, Merchandise Chair ======~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~====== Reprinted from The DRIP LINE -- Pikes Peak Corvair Club -- December 2021 TECH TIP: USING YOUR CORVAIRS ON TRIPS SUBMITTED BY STEVE GOODMAN Now that everyone has settled back to a normal routine let's look at the Corvair attendance at Albuquerque Tri-State meet last month. By 'Corvair' I mean the cars in attendance and their ability to be used for longer drives than just to the edge of town. By my count (several times) 13 Corvairs from either/both Colorado clubs were driven 900miles or more round trip to Albuquerque and back home. In addition a Corvair from Oregon amassed a total of 2600 miles round trip as they hit Tri-State then drove to Palm Springs for fan belt toss and then back to southern Texas for HOT (Heart of Texas) meet then back to Oregon. There were only mechanical failures on 3 Corvairs in the above car count and all were minor and easily repaired and no one was left stranded or needing a tow truck, etc. One car suffered two plug wires blown off while at RPM. That happens due to either aged wire boots or just the air pressure building up under the fan shroud when the engine is spinning away on the highway. Another Corvair had a failure/breakage of a fuel filter under the car. It was damaged by crummy roads and debris plus a low riding car. Again many of us have scrapped the tunnel cover due to lack of ground clearance. The third and last Corvair developed a kinked area in a rubber fuel line that probably was good in the beginning but age and our fuel chemicals these days decided to act up at higher speeds and restrict the fuel flow. All of the above were easy fixes; the most difficult was having to raise the car with the fuel filter damage so access underneath was possible. And this is exactly my point; the other cars ran the total distance needing nothing but fuel/maybe a quart of oil or less and a checkover of the car at any gas/restaurant stop. Heck a new brand X should have a quick inspection at a gas stop too even though the computer tells the driver oil is needed or a tire is low. I think all of the club members from PPCC and RMC should be proud of the fact that their maintenance AND their confidence of their Corvairs was rewarded with easy and enjoyable driving on the highways. ======~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~====== >> TRI-STATE CASH FLOW - YEAR TO DATE << Category 1/1/2021 through 11/23/2021 INFLOWS Tri-State Honorarium 2021 500.00 Tri-State Raffle 2,987.00 Tri-State Registration 2021 4,110.95 TOTAL INFLOWS 7,597.95 OUTFLOWS Tri-State Expenses 2021 2,279.92 Tri-State Refund 2021 240.00 TOTAL OUTFLOWS 2,519.92 OVERALL TOTAL 5,078.03 ======~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~====== TREASURY REPORT FOR 10-31-2021 to 11-27-2021 =============================================== DATE CHECK# AMOUNT PAYEE DESCRIPTION BALANCE = $ 5,501.30 ========== ==== ========== =========== ========================================== ========== 2021.11.03 1461 +$ 50.00 Dues Geoff Johnson 26 m CNM +$ 50.00 $ 5,551.30 2021.11.03 2539 -$ 94.00 J.Pittman Newsletter Printing NOV 2021 -$ 62.74 $ 5,488.56 2021.11.03 2539 -$ J.Pittman 37 Stamps @ .70 each -$ 25.90 $ 5,462.66 2021.11.03 2539 -$ J.Pittman 37 Envelopes @ .161 each -$ 5.96 $ 5,456.70 2021.11.13 Cash +$ 50.00 Dues Larry Blair 26 m CNM +$ 50.00 $ 5,506.70 2021.11.13 1584 +$ 25.00 Dues William Heil 12 m CNM +$ 25.00 $ 5,531.70 2021.11.19 2540 -$ 62.17 All Sports Trophies Boydston Award Plaque -$ 62.17 $ 5,469.53 ========== ==== ========== =========== ========================================== ========== 2021.12.01 DEC NEWSLETTER ============================================ BALANCE = $ 5,469.53 ========== ==== ========== =========== ========================================== ========== ======~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~====== It Was Seventeen Years Ago (The original was published in the March 2004 Special Edition Newsletter) NEW CAR FEVER JIM PITTMAN Director Jerry Brown's "Good Old Days" article in the February 2004 CORSA Communique told of looking forward to September each year to see what the new crop of cars would look like. Boy, did that ring a bell with me. As a high school student I was always eager to see the new cars every fall. I learned at an early age that the family Ford was not the only kind of car there was. On visits to Grandpa's it was a ritual for the cousins to wander among the parked cars to look them over. Some of the aunts and uncles would have newer cars than ours, and some even had cars that weren't Fords. These exotic machines had to be inspected and compared. We always checked out the instrument panels. We were awed if the speedometer indicated a higher top speed than the one in our family car. We believed if the speedometer went to 100 MPH the car would go 100 MPH, and if it indicated 80 the car would only do 80. We'd look at Fords that were newer than ours with envy. I'd look at Chevys with a blend of indifference and disdain, but I secretly admire the crank on the Chevy's vent window - the vent window on the Ford had to be pulled open by hand. An aunt who had a Pontiac or Oldsmobile was obviously higher up in the world than we. An uncle who had a Henry J or a DeSoto must have been some kind of far-out radical. It was impossible to imagine one of my relatives owning a Cadillac or Lincoln. Only a banker (or the owner of the Ice Cream plant in town) could own one of those. One day in September 1956 my dad was doing some electrical work for the Ford dealer. After the dealership closed on Friday evening and we finished up our work, the dealer invited my dad and me to the back area of the dealership to have a look at the brand new Fords that had just come in. They wouldn't be seen by the public until the grand opening next week. That was a treat! Those 1957 Fords were sure different from last year's models. This was a thrill for me, and it must have thrilled my dad too, because the dealer soon sold him a new 1957 Ford. I was brought up to be a Ford man and to buy a new Ford every two years, but when I got my 1966 Corvair everything changed. By the time I was comfortable with my Corvair it was obvious there was never going to be another new Corvair. But that was okay by me because with a few minor modifications my car was suiting me even better. I could ignore the September new car introductions. When I saw new cars or read about them in the car magazines, they held little attraction. I knew I already had the perfect American sports car. By 1974 when we started our Corvair Club it was clear that we eccentric people had the world's most eccentric cars, and we'd better join forces with other Corvair owners to keep them running perfectly. Not only could we help each other keep our cars running forever, but we could enjoy the company of others of like mind. When you meet someone and they find out you are a Corvair person, you can tell instantly whether they are positive or negative toward Corvairs. What a joy to find so many delightfully positive people who shared our automotive philosophy! Up until 1990 or so I found myself "frozen in time" as far as automobiles were concerned. My 1966 Corsa coupe was just about perfect for my transportation needs, and by now I owned used second and third Corvairs. No need to wait for September new car introductions. I just had to keep my Corvairs in good shape to have better cars than any new ones that might come along. Even now in 2004, with comfortable, quiet, reliable, air-conditioned Civics to drive, my Corvair is somehow exotic and special. There is no describing how important it has been to have the members of Corvairs of New Mexico to share my automobile experiences and beliefs with. To find that most of them have been great people and good friends was just icing on the cake! How could I not take the greatest pride in editing the newsletter, going to board meetings, attending club events and helping support this group of people for the last thirty years!? So I offer my sincere thanks to all of you wonderful friends. May we keep the club going for another thirty years! It's now 2021 and the club is still here. And there are still quite a few nice Corvairs driving around -- many showed up for the Albuquerque Tri-State! But the worlds of 1966, 2004 and 2021 are vastly different. A few years ago popular cars began to transition from streamlined sporty sedans and coupes to boxy SUVs and pickup trucks. There's an all-electric "Mustang" and an electric F-150 pickup! There are plenty of Teslas driving around Albuquerque. Pretty soon the only new cars you'll be able to buy will be electric! Does September "new car fever" even exist these days? ======~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~====== Reprinted from the November 2021 issue of THE FLAT SIX, newsletter of Prairie Capital Corvair Association. HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR WEATHERSTRIPPING THE RIGHT WAY POSTED ON OCTOBER 15, 2018 BY RAEIA LAIL ON THE STEELE RUBBER PRODUCTS WEB SITE. Weatherstripping may not be as fun or sexy as the glimmering light from shiny wheels and chrome parts, but it will have a big impact on the end result of your project. I'd say Weatherstripping isn't really something you appreciate most of the time..... unless it fails. Weatherstripping is made of rubber (more specifically, ours is made of 100% EPDM rubber with no fillers) and goes around the doors, windows, trunk and other various openings of your car or truck to seal between the interior of your ride and all the things Mother Nature has to offer outside (water, dirt, wind, etc). For doors and trunks, a squishy sponge rubber is used and has a little give in it to allow for compression for a good seal. For windows and windshields, a dense, hard rubber is used, sealing out all that rain water beating directly down on them. Failing Weatherstripping can cause a lot of problems: * wind noise and rattling windows making for a noisy ride * water leaks that cause rust, mold and a stained interior * heat and air conditioning will not stay in Let's say you've done your research and purchased and installed all new seals on your ride -- now its time to talk maintenance. One of the most common questions we're asked here at Steele is "What's the best way to ensure your Weatherstripping has a long life and is sealing the best that it can at all times?" I've read a lot of chats and forums that tell you to use silicone spray, WD-40, Armor All, grease and other like products. There are more companies than I can shake a stick at that promote their products for maintaining and extending the life of your Weatherstripping. But, our experts here at Steele say this: All you need to do is keep the weatherstripping clean and dry and out of the sun when possible. That's it. This is not a matter of opinion, this is science. Like I mentioned earlier, our products are made of high quality EPDM rubber that is far more ozone resistant than the parts that originally came on your classic car. But one prevalent characteristic of EPDM rubber is that it has very poor resistance to solvents (petroleum distillates) and oils. Using the products recommended by others that I mentioned above can deteriorate the rubber -- doing the exact opposite of what you set out to do in the first place! Please note: NEVER APPLY ANY RUBBER OR VINYL TREATMENT THAT HAS AN OILY OR GREASY NATURE OR CONTAINS PETROLEUM DISTILLATES TO EPDM RUBBER WEATHERSTRIPPING Different chemicals will impact rubber in different ways. Some will have a negative effect and others are fine to use but won't do anything to extend the life of the rubber. So, our advice is, it's better to be safe than sorry. Stick to everyday dish soap and water-clean them off, dry them off and you're all set. Steele not only has all the products you need but all the knowledge you need to get the job done right, too. Ray Trujillo remembered lessons from high school basketball. Plans for the year: we needed a club breakfast, a driving tour, a TUNA and an Aspencade drive. Tri-State: Rocky Mountain CORSA picked Durango. Would there be a Fourth-of-July-on-the-Plaza this year in Santa Fe? Larry Yoffee said car shows were a good way to get new members. Steve Goodman told how to renovate those drafty fresh-air doors to keep out the cold. We finished the issue with an index of the year's articles. 2007 V.33 N.12 #387 COVER: Photos from the last year. List of members and dues dates. Wendell reported $2,873. A visitor was Jeff Richards who had a 1967 to sell. Art Gold and Cary Hubbard reported that the Car Council had a web master. Former non-member Don Heath died. He owned a blue 1967 Stinger. Pat Hall suggested making TUNAs a learning experience, not a way for non-members to get free work done. We planned a progressive dinner. Steve Johnson invited us to come to Double Eagle to see the "Liberty Belle" B-17 winter maintenance work. President Mike Stickler reported on his super garage. LeRoy Rogers previewed our February garage tour at the Lewis Antique Auto museum in Moriarty. Brenda Stickler reported a 2008 Club Calendar project. We planned a Taos Tri-State. Robert Gold reported on a trip to the Great Western Fan Belt Toss. An index to all 2007 articles finished up this issue. 2000 V.26 N.12 #303 COVER: Photos from the tour to the Gilman Tunnel in the Jemez. Preview of the 2000 Tri-State. The Galles Chevrolet room was out of commission so we met at a restaurant back room. We were glad to see Ilva Walker at the meeting. Wendell reported $6015 in our treasury. Mark Martinek's report on the Car Council focused on the recent swap meet. The CNM ladies planned to meet in November at Debbie's. Our December regular meeting would be short and held at the Christmas brunch at Kirtland AFB. Steve Gongora planned to take over the club's web site from Dennis Pleau. We discussed just what we wanted to see on our web page. The Meissner Award committee reported the recipient of the award for this year had been selected. There was discussion of whether the award should be continued since few current members of the club knew Ike. Should the Meissner and Boydston awards be combined? Stay tuned. Del Patten gave examples to illustrate why he and Mr Murphy are very good friends. Mark Martinek told his famous story about trudging up and down a mountain in the Jemez to call AAA for help with Mary Lou's stalled 1964 Monza convertible. Richard Finch sent us an article on restoring a 1964 Monza with an up-to-date aftermarket air conditioner. Virtual Vairs tech tips told about a schedule of maintenance for mid-sixties cars, a way to calibrate your speedometer and what you need to know about wheel and tire sizes for Corvairs. Finally, the issue wrapped up with an index of most of the articles from 2000. 1993 V.19 N.12 #219 COVER: "Merry Christmas and Happy New year" proclaimed the cover. President Del Patten ran the meeting and Treasurer Will Davis said we had $1371 in the piggy bank. New members Clint Collins ('65 convertible) and Rick Dragoo ('63 convertible) were welcomed by Sylvan Zuercher. We discussed next year's events; what would our members like to do? Our Christmas dinner was to be a pot luck, held at the Church of the Good Shepherd, venue no doubt arranged by Chuck Vertrees. We had a great Funkhana and Del said it was really fun and quite a challenge. Eight people drove; Chuck reported their times; Steve got the best score; Debbie and Kim were close behind, trailed by Dennis, Bill, Joel, Carl and Del. Editor Jim suggested ways the Club could improve; naturally he suggested that everyone should write a newsletter article. He pointed out that at all our gatherings we seem to talk endlessly about things we do with our cars, and if we'd just write down these experiences we'd have great material for the newsletter. Alas, since it's much easier to talk than to write, a lot of good stories are forever lost to posterity. An index to the 1993 newsletters completed this issue. 1986 V.12 N.12 #135 COVER: We said once again "Merry Christmas" and we had hardly any meeting minutes because the last meeting was held at the Furr's Cafeteria in Santa Fe and Club business was not at the front of our minds. Bill Reider organized a photo contest. President Clayborne looked back over the past year and told us some of his tribulations as a diesel mechanic. The Club voted to sponsor a special award, the IKE MEISSNER AWARD, to recognize outstanding Club members who followed in Ike's footsteps as supporters of the Corvair hobby. Bill Reider's technical column told about finding cracks in a rear torque arm. He recommended checking all the rubber bushings then getting a good four-wheel alignment. Specs for such an alignment were provided. An index for 1986 articles completed this issue. 1979 V.5 N.12 #51 COVER: We provided the solution to last month's crossword puzzle. We had $313 in the bank. Calendars for 1980 were available. We planned to go to Bella Vista for our Christmas dinner. We thanked Ed Black's Chevrolet for sponsoring our Club. An excellent technical article by our German engineer, Markus Rothmeyer, told us how to install a 3.89 differential in a late Corvair. Markus also told us about his experiences driving around New Mexico at Autobahn speeds in a 140-Corvair-powered VW van. After the 1979 newsletter index Jim said that his two years as editor had been fun and educational but required a lot of time. (The year 1979 was BC ("Before Computers") and everything was TYPED on a TYPEWRITER if you can believe that.) Jim thanked Ike for his excellent technical articles and Sylvan for copying, folding, stapling, stamping and mailing the newsletter every month. ======~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~=====~====== INDEX OF ARTICLES PUBLISHED IN 2021 JAN President: What's Up Dave ........................
