WHY MY PHOTOGRAPHS ARE GOOD

Nazraeli Press began their One Picture Book series in 2000. Each book is casebound, measures 5 1/2 x 7 1/4 inches, and contains 16 pages of text and illustrations and one original print. Each title is limited to 500 numbered and signed copies.

Why My Photographs are Good is One Picture Book #29, from 2005. The book is available for purchase directly from Nazraeli Press, from Photo-Eye Books, and from Vincent Borrelli, Bookseller.

The book's genesis is a relatively (and deservedly) obscure 1902 how-to book by Charles H. Taylor. In it, Taylor gives earnest examples of bad photographs, like the cropping error shown below, along with corrective suggestions and examples of the good photographs that they ensure.
