The Chapter Director is the primary representative of their chapter and is responsible for ensuring that their team strives to increase local food security through:
- Increasing awareness around the issues of food security through educational workshops and events - Advocating for positive change at the local level - Organizing events and activities that engages your peers in the issues of food security Position Overview: - Ensure the long-term success of your chapter - Recruit a volunteer team of at least 3 executives to help organize and implement events that address food security and poverty at the local level - Guide your volunteers through program implementation and promotion, as well as collection and delivery of food that meets the needs of your community - Act as the primary representative in your community for all Meal Exchange activities and media requests - To be aware of and ensure that your chapter meets all of the outlined expectations of a chapter | ||
